Getting started
What does Kash's Land Services do?
Forestry mulching and land clearing — mesquite, brush, and small timber ground into mulch in place instead of bulldozed or burned. Based in Goliad, Texas.
How do I get an estimate?
Send your acreage, brush type, and what you want the land to do through the contact form or call/text 361-332-2795. Estimates are free.
What areas do you serve?
Based in Goliad, Texas, working roughly a 70-mile radius, covering Goliad, DeWitt, Victoria, Refugio, Bee, Karnes, Live Oak, Gonzales, Lavaca, Calhoun, Wilson, Atascosa, and San Patricio counties. Not sure if that reaches you? Ask — for bigger jobs, we travel.
How do I know which service is right for my land?
Forestry mulching is the general-purpose fix for overgrown land. Lot & pad clearing is for a specific building site. Pasture reclamation is for grazing land brush has taken over. Fence lines & rights-of-way is for a line you can't reach anymore. Not sure? Tell us what you're dealing with and we'll point you the right way.

What's the difference between mulching and dozing?
A dozer scrapes brush into piles, usually taking the topsoil with it, and leaves you with debris to burn or haul off. Mulching grinds everything in place and leaves a layer that feeds the ground instead of stripping it. No piles, no smoke, no bare dirt.
Will mulching kill the trees I want to keep?
No — that's the point of selective clearing. The operator works around the trees worth keeping and clears the brush and volunteer growth crowding them out. You tell us what stays before we start.

Can you clear right to my survey lines?
Yes — point out your stakes or boundary markers and we'll clear to them. Fence line and boundary clearing is part of the same job.
Will the site be ready for a dozer or dirt crew right after?
The brush and small timber are cleared and the ground is walkable and bare of debris. Any grading, leveling, or foundation work is a separate step handled by your dirt or construction crew.

Can cattle or livestock graze right after?
Once the mulch layer settles and grass starts coming back through it, yes. It's the same ground, just cleared of brush — no chemicals or residue involved.
Will the brush just grow back?
Mesquite and cedar can regrow from the root, same as with any clearing method. Mulching doesn't stop that on its own, but it resets the ground and makes any regrowth far easier to manage than what you started with.

How wide of a strip do you clear along the fence?
Wide enough to actually work the line — enough room for a person or equipment to move along it comfortably. Tell us what the line's for and we'll size the clearing to fit.
Can you clear a line I can't even find anymore?
That's one of the most common calls we get. If you have a rough idea of where the line runs, or a survey to work from, we can clear back to it and get it walkable again.

What should I include in an estimate request?
Your rough acreage, what kind of brush you're dealing with, and what you want the land to do. Photos help if you have them.
Are estimates really free?
Yes — no pressure, no upsell. If mulching isn't the right tool for your land, we'll tell you that too.
Still have a question?
Call, text, or send it through the contact form — we'll give you a straight answer.
